Digital Story Task Sheet - #6                          

 Choose a topic and confirm with me. To be uploaded to your blogs and presented  Between 24^th April – 4^th May.  (+4^th May = 60% marks)..

The goal of the Digital Story task is for you to:

^{1. Conduct research about your topic to validate and support your views}

^{2. Integrate as many communication and language skills as you have learnt throughout the course.}

^{3. Use the internet, media and technology to compose a digital video.}

^{4. Produce a creative and personal perspective of the issue with a critical analysis of the subject matter.}

 

You are required to …

1. In this individual and final project, you will be asked to consider a current issue (social, health, political, economic, cultural, local, global etc.) that concerns you most.

2. You need to define and discuss the problem at hand and suggest possible ways to solve it by creating your own digital story. Here are some ways you could analyze it:

a) compare and contrast

b) cause and effect

c) advantages and disadvantages

d) past, present and future

e) true story

3. The digital story will be your platform to voice your opinion with facts, figures, images and personal accounts. This should be about 4-5 minutes long.

4. You must include a works cited page at the end of your video (bibliography).  

5. Check the rubrics posted on Bb Learn to make sure you are completing exactly what is asked of you for this task.
